In 1927, our founder Carl Zoellner signed the articles of incorporation for a new joint-stock company at the Hotel Rosebaum in Brilon. Wirth the steadfast support of his family - and the encouragement of his wife Auguste - he laid the foundation for a company built on innovation, turst and long-term vision. 

Nearly a century later, those values remain alive and well. 

In 1985, that vision expanded across the Atlantic with the founding of our North America operation under the name of HOPPECKE Battery Systems. In the early 2000's, we became HOPPECKE Batteries, Inc., proudly carrying forward the mission to enable power for everyone, everywhere. 

Throughout these 40 years in North America we've reached major milestones and in every step of the way, your trust has driven us forward. 

As we celebrate this anniversary, we want to thank you for being an essential part of our story. Your partnership has fueled our growth, innovation, and purpose. 

And we're just getting started.
